Creativity and Inspiration

My grandmother gave me her ceramic shop in 2003 and I turned it into a passionate business based in Austin, Texas. After moving everything from Virginia to Texas, I took over our garage and set up Ek Creations Studio.

I started teaching girl scouts and retirement communities. And playing around with my own ideas in pottery and jewelry designs.

When I was a kid, my grandmother taught me ceramics. At 91, she gave me everything because I had asked her for it all when I was 12. She lived to be 96 and I'm thrilled to carry on the tradition of making things to sell.
